Service Desk EngineerCamberley, Surrey | Hybrid £25,000 - £30,000 + benefits packageAn exciting opportunity to join a high-performance technology business working at the cutting edge of automotive, motorsport, transport, electrification and telemetry.Our client is looking for a Service Desk Engineer to provide 1st-line technical support across the business, helping employees get the most from their technology while supporting a fast-moving, engineering-focused environment.The RoleYou’ll be the first point of contact for IT support, managing incidents and service requests through to resolution while working closely with the wider Business Technology team.Key responsibilities include:Provide 1st-line support via the Service Desk and on-site Tech BarTroubleshoot Windows and Mac hardware and software issuesProvision, configure and decommission laptops and user devicesSupport Microsoft 365, Intune, Defender, Entra ID and JAMF environmentsInstall and package engineering and CAD applicationsSupport meeting rooms, printers and other workplace technologyManage incidents within agreed SLAs and escalate where requiredMaintain IT assets, documentation and knowledge articlesSupport new-starter IT inductions and onboardingAssist with information security and ISO 27001 requirementsWork across multiple local sites and participate in an out-of-hours support rotaAbout YouWe’re looking for someone with previous Service Desk / IT Support experience who combines strong technical troubleshooting skills with excellent customer service.You should have experience with:Windows and Mac troubleshootingMicrosoft 365Intune, Defender and Entra IDJAMFService Desk ticketing systemsApplication packagingHardware and software diagnosticsExperience supporting engineering, CAD or automotive environments would be highly advantageous.Opportunity to work alongside specialists developing technology for some of the world's most demanding engineering environmentsIf you're a hands-on IT support professional looking for a role where your work directly supports high-performance engineering and technology, we'd love to hear from you.
