Systems Administrator & Applications EngineerLondon | Hybrid | Up to £45,000We’re working with a well-established, high-profile organisation within the events space that is looking for a Systems Administrator / Applications Engineer to join its internal technology team.This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being the go-to technical person, combining hands-on systems support with ownership of key business applications.The roleYou’ll act as a lead engineer and first point of contact across core systems, supporting users while helping maintain and improve the organisation’s cloud and SaaS environment.You’ll be responsible for:Supporting and administering Microsoft 365 and cloud-based productsManaging and supporting key SaaS/business applicationsActing as a lead technical contact for internal usersSupporting and developing the organisation’s core event/venue management platformTroubleshooting systems and application issuesWorking closely with external technology/MSP partnersHelping improve systems, processes and the overall user experienceWhat we’re looking forPrevious Systems Administrator, Applications Support or IT Engineer experienceStrong knowledge of Microsoft 365 / cloud environmentsExperience supporting SaaS and business applicationsConfident troubleshooting and taking ownership of technical issuesExcellent communication and people skillsPersonable, approachable and comfortable working with users across the businessAble to work independently while collaborating with internal and external teamsYou don’t need to come from the events industry, technical capability, communication skills and the right attitude are more important.What's on offer?
