The teacher will plan and deliver engaging IT lessons, covering core topics such as computer fundamentals, software applications, networking basics, and digital literacy, aligned with the center’s curriculum and standards. Daily responsibilities include preparing teaching materials, delivering lectures and hands-on lab sessions, assessing learner progress through assignments and exams, and providing constructive feedback and academic support. The role involves maintaining accurate attendance and performance records, collaborating with colleagues to enhance course content, and integrating current industry practices and technologies into the learning process. The teacher is also expected to support learners’ career readiness by introducing them to relevant tools, certifications, and best practices in the IT field.QualificationsStrong knowledge of information technology fundamentals, including hardware, software, operating systems, and networking basics.Experience teaching or training in IT, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, practical lessons.Proficiency with classroom and lab technologies, common productivity software, and learning management systems.Excellent communication, classroom management, and learner engagement skills, with a focus on inclusive and respectful teaching practices.Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; teaching certification or relevant training experience is an advantage.Ability to design and update curriculum and assessments to reflect current IT trends and industry standards.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for lesson planning, grading, and maintaining learner records.Commitment to continuous professional development and openness to using new educational technologies and methodologies.Previous experience working with diverse learner groups and supporting different learning styles is highly beneficial.
