Job Overview:The IT Technician is responsible for providing first- and second-level technical support to Baraya staff, maintaining IT equipment and systems, and supporting clinical and administrative applications to ensure uninterrupted healthcare services.JOB SCOPEEnd-user IT supportHardware and software maintenanceNetwork and system supportClinical and administrative systems assistanceIT security and compliance supportJOB REQUIREMENTSEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEEducations and Certificates:- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field- IT certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft, or equivalent) are an advantageExperience:- Minimum 2–4 years’ experience in IT support or technician roles- Experience in healthcare or regulated environments preferred- Familiarity with hospital information systemsSKILLS AND PORFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE- Strong troubleshooting skills (hardware, software, and networks)- Knowledge of Windows OS, basic server concepts, and networking- Familiarity with IT service management and ticketing systems- Awareness of data security, privacy, and access controls- Ability to support medical and clinical IT systems- Strong communication and customer-service skillsLANGUAGEProficiency in written, read and spoken Arabic and English languagesROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (But not limited to)GENERAL ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITES- Provide timely and effective IT support to Baraya staff- Ensure availability and functionality of IT systems and equipment- Maintain compliance with IT policies and security standardsESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES- Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals- Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software- Support clinical and administrative systems- Troubleshoot network connectivity and basic server issues- Manage user accounts, access rights, and password resets- Support onboarding and offboarding IT requirements in coordination with HR- Maintain IT inventory and asset records- Escalate complex issues to IT Manager or vendors- Support data security, backups, and compliance requirements- Assist during system upgrades, audits, and inspections
