We’re Hiring: Infrastructure AdministratorWe are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Administrator to manage and strengthen the technology environment supporting a business-critical, 24/7 operation.Location: KochiEmployment Type: Full-timeOn-Call Support: RequiredKey ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, and improve hybrid infrastructure standards across multiple locations.Manage cloud and on-premises infrastructure, identity systems, networks, monitoring, backups, and security controls.Conduct capacity, availability, and performance planning to identify risks before they result in outages.Develop and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes.Perform recovery testing to ensure systems can be restored within defined RTO and RPO targets.Establish effective monitoring and alerting with actionable thresholds, accountable owners, and clear runbooks.Develop modernization and migration plans for mixed technology environments.Identify and eliminate single points of failure, unnecessary complexity, and repetitive alerts.Maintain clear documentation of infrastructure decisions, configurations, and dependencies.Collaborate with operations, development, data, cybersecurity, and IT management teams.Manage infrastructure vendors while considering cost, reliability, supportability, and business requirements.Participate in an on-call schedule to support the company’s 24/7 operations.Required Skills and ExperiencePractical experience managing and improving business-critical IT infrastructure.Strong knowledge of cloud, on-premises, and hybrid infrastructure architecture.Hands-on experience with:Windows ServerMicrosoft 365Microsoft AzureActive Directory and Entra IDMulti-Factor AuthenticationLinux environmentsNetwork design and troubleshootingIBM i (AS/400) and legacy platformsExperience with identity and access administration.Knowledge of network security, system hardening, endpoint security, and infrastructure controls.Experience in backup, disaster recovery, continuity planning, monitoring, observability, and capacity management.Scripting knowledge using PowerShell and/or Python.Strong troubleshooting and incident-management skills.Ability to explain technical decisions and trade-offs in business terms.Experience managing technology vendors and service providers.Preferred QualificationsExperience conducting RTO and RPO testing.Experience managing complex infrastructure migrations.Experience integrating infrastructure following mergers or acquisitions.Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code and DevOps practices.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience supported by relevant industry certifications.Ideal CandidateThe successful candidate will be someone who:Simplifies and standardizes infrastructure instead of creating unnecessary tools or exceptions.Makes calm and informed decisions during critical incidents.Presents technical options, associated trade-offs, and clear recommendations.Connects infrastructure decisions to business impact.Documents systems and shares knowledge to reduce dependency on individual team members.Prioritizes system reliability, scalability, security, and business continuity.Interested candidates can apply by sharing their updated resume at MyHR@JohnTuringWatson.ai.#Hiring #InfrastructureAdministrator #ITInfrastructure #Azure #Microsoft365 #WindowsServer #ActiveDirectory #EntraID #Linux #Networking #DisasterRecovery #PowerShell #Python #AS400 #TechJobs
