Infrastructure Project Manager

Our client, a global financial services company, is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead a major infrastructure and cloud migration programme associated with a recent acquisition.This is a hands-on delivery role managing multiple technical teams, third-party vendors and managed service providers across IBM i/iSeries, on-premises infrastructure and AWS environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end planning and delivery of infrastructure and cloud migrations
• Manage third-party vendors and managed service providers responsible for migration activities
• Coordinate iSeries data and backup migrations between on-premises hosting environments
• Manage the migration of existing AWS workloads into the client's AWS environment
• Coordinate Infrastructure, Cloud, Network, Security and Application teams
• Manage RAID, RACI, dependencies, critical paths and migration governance
• Ensure network connectivity, routing and security approvals are in place ahead of migration
• Coordinate migration testing, cutover and contingency/rollback planning
• Provide clear progress reporting and escalation to senior stakeholders
• Ensure delivery meets security, compliance, change management and audit requirementsWhat We're Looking For:
• 7+ years' IT Project Management experience
• Strong infrastructure, platform, data centre and/or cloud migration experience
• Proven experience managing complex multi-vendor/third-party projects
• Experience with data and/or backup migrations
• Good understanding of Network and Security concepts
• Strong stakeholder management and technical coordination skills
• IBM i/iSeries experience or knowledge would be highly advantageous
• AWS experience or knowledge would be advantageous
• Financial services, insurance or regulated-industry experience would be beneficial
