A global multinational in the renewable energy sector is hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer with hands-on Foundry experience. This is a highly hands-on engineering role.Translating business needs into technical solutions, and using modern engineering + AI-assisted development practices to move quickly from idea to production.🎯 About the roleYou'll work directly with business and technical stakeholders to build and deploy software solutions in a real-world, fast-moving environment. Ownership from discovery through development, testing, and deployment. Hands-on with Palantir Foundry as the platform where solutions live.🎒 ResponsibilitiesWork closely with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into practical software solutions.Design, build, and deploy applications and features across the full stack.Work hands-on with Palantir Foundry, contributing to development and implementation of solutions within the platform.Collaborate with product, engineering, and other stakeholders to define requirements, challenge assumptions, and make pragmatic technical decisions.Take ownership from initial discovery through development, testing, and deployment.Use AI-assisted engineering tools such as Claude Code to accelerate development, improve code quality, and support day-to-day engineering work.Maintain clear technical documentation and share knowledge effectively across the team.Work in an agile, collaborative environment with high autonomy.✅ Must-have5+ years of software engineering experience, ideally in backend or full-stack roles.At least 1 year of hands-on experience working with Palantir Foundry.Strong software engineering fundamentals with production-grade experience.Backend experience with at least one of: Python, Go, PHP, or Node.js.Frontend experience with TypeScript and React (or Vue).Direct experience with business stakeholders, translating requirements into technical solutions.Comfortable across the full software development lifecycle (discovery → architecture → implementation → deployment).Experience with AI-assisted engineering (Claude Code or equivalent) with critical judgment.Strong communication and collaboration.Curious, proactive, pragmatic mindset.
