قدّم وتابع مع أبلاي إيدجThe Innovation Specialist is responsible for ensuring a continuous pipeline of ideas and initiatives in the field of innovation, acting as the custodian of the DOE strategy and plans in this field.In addition, the Innovation Specialist is responsible for the evaluation of all innovation strategies, projects, ideas, and business cases as part of the overall Innovation in DOE.Key ResponsibilitiesInitiate the analysis of the unlocked potential of investing resources in innovation projects or initiatives within the different departments across the energy sector, focusing on timelines and return on investment.Collaborate with the innovation team to create an innovative toolkit that will allow DoE employees to innovate systematically and accurately.Initiate and support research that helps strengthen DoE's innovation focus and enhance growth areas, including researching new technologies, practices, and equipment.Assist in monitoring the global technological landscape within the energy sector, focusing on best practices.Work with external innovation experts and organizations engaged in innovation to bring the most up-to-date methods and learnings back to DoE.Participate in the development of organizational initiatives that foster a culture of innovation at DoEAssist in developing and driving innovation-focused initiatives, focusing on transformational initiatives within the energy sector.Assist in the ongoing monitoring and evaluation of approved innovation projects and initiatives.Assisting the Department of Energy in becoming a pioneer and change agent in the field of innovation to establish a national and global culture of value-based innovation.Work with the relevant stakeholders across the different directorates to define the directorate-specific scope for innovation and potential growth areas and identify any key associated risks.Create a culture that fosters innovation and priorities the innovation agenda in driving DoE forward, focusing on acquiring new skills and adopting new practices readily to develop innovative and low-cost strategies across the relevant directorates.Define and facilitate innovation projectsHelp in developing training on the use of innovation methodologiesInitiate and generate new ideas and projects that fulfil both DoE's Mission and Vision and the Innovation and Roadmap.Provide guidance and best practice knowledge to build experimentation discipline and rigor, including defined measures of success and building in accountability and learning collectionQualificationsBachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline e.g., Energy Management, Engineering, Innovation Management, Social Sciences, etc.ExperienceMinimum of 5 years of experience in the field of innovation management and research and development
