Inside Sales Account Manager (Sales and Marketing Professional)

Mid-South Metals is looking for an Inside Sales Account Representative to join our Inside Sales Team. This position works directly with Business Partners and coordinates with our inside sales and operations teams to keep quotes and orders moving.The right person is organized, dependable, and comfortable handling several priorities at once. You should be able to communicate clearly, follow through, and build good working relationships with both customers and coworkers. Metal or manufacturing experience is helpful, but we are willing to train someone who brings the right attitude and work habits.ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain relationships with Business Partners and internal team membersPrepare quotes, follow up on open quotes, and keep customers informedReview order details for accuracy and enter information into company systemsCoordinate with production, purchasing, CAD, and other departments to address order requirements and keep work movingFollow up on order status, lead times, and customer questionsLook for opportunities to grow business with existing accounts and develop new businessWork toward individual and team sales goalsMaintain accurate account, quote, and order recordsQualificationsBachelor’s degree highly preferred, or equivalent experience in industrial sales, customer service, manufacturing, or a related fieldStrong communication, organization, and time-management skillsComfortable using Microsoft Office and learning company systems, including CRM toolsAble to manage multiple quotes, orders, and follow-ups without losing track of detailsReliable, self-motivated, and willing to work with others to solve problemsMetal or industrial distribution experience is a plusBenefits401(k) with matchingPaid time offPaid trainingBonus and commission opportunitiesAbout Mid-South MetalsMid-South Metals is a leading first and second stage plate processing company serving manufacturers, fabricators, OEMs, and industrial contractors.
