In this role, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive structural inspections of port facilities, infrastructure, and maritime assets. You will ensure all port structures meet established safety standards, regulatory requirements, and operational specifications. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, technical expertise, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of port infrastructure integrity.Conduct thorough structural inspections of port facilities, including docks, warehouses, cranes, and related infrastructureAnalyze structural conditions and identify potential defects, deterioration, or safety hazardsDocument inspection findings in detailed reports with photographic evidence and technical assessmentsEvaluate compliance with international port standards, safety regulations, and local building codesRecommend corrective actions and maintenance priorities based on inspection resultsCollaborate with engineering teams and port management to address structural concernsMaintain accurate records of all inspections, repairs, and follow-up activitiesUtilize inspection equipment and tools to assess structural integrity and material conditionsCommunicate inspection findings clearly to stakeholders and managementStay current with industry standards, best practices, and regulatory updates in port operationsParticipate in safety audits and quality assurance programsQualifications**Required Skills and Experience:**Proven experience conducting structural inspections in port, maritime, or industrial environmentsStrong knowledge of structural assessment methodologies and inspection protocolsProficiency in identifying structural defects, corrosion, and material degradationExcellent report writing and technical documentation skillsSolid understanding of port infrastructure, maritime standards, and safety regulationsProficiency with inspection tools and measurement equipmentStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent organizational and time management skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamClear verbal and written communication skills**Preferred Skills and Experience:**Experience with digital inspection tools or specialized inspection softwareFamiliarity with international port standards and maritime regulationsBackground in quality assurance or compliance programsExperience with corrosion assessment and material analysisKnowledge of port operations and facility managementExperience working in Middle Eastern port environments
