Client Coverage and Relationship ManagementDevelop and maintain relationships with institutional clients across the UAE and the wider Gulf region, including sovereign wealth funds, financial institutions, large corporates, family offices and other professional investors.2. Business DevelopmentIdentify and pursue new business opportunities by developing a strong understanding of clients’ needs, the local market environment and evolving investment trends, with a focus on building long-term client relationships and expanding the firm’s client base.3. Products and SolutionsLeverage the firm’s expertise and resources across Chinese and global capital markets to introduce relevant products, services and capital markets solutions to clients and support the development and execution of business opportunities.4. Internal CoordinationAct as a key liaison between clients and the firm’s business units in China and overseas, coordinating with investment banking, capital markets, research and other relevant teams to develop and deliver tailored solutions based on client needs.5. Client Presentation and Market EngagementParticipate in client meetings, roadshows, business presentations and other market-facing activities, delivering clear and professional presentations on the firm’s businesses, products, market views and investment opportunities.6. Market IntelligenceMonitor macroeconomic, capital markets and financial industry developments across the UAE and the wider Gulf region, provide clients with relevant market insights, and communicate market and client feedback internally to support business development.7. Business Execution and Regional DevelopmentSupport the execution of key client engagements and business opportunities by coordinating internal and external resources. Contribute to the development of the firm’s Dubai office and broader Middle East business, including client outreach, market development, brand building and key client events.Qualifications1. Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related discipline.2. At least 5 years of relevant experience in capital markets, investment banking, institutional sales, client coverage or a related financial services role. Experience in the UAE or wider Gulf region is highly preferred.3. Strong understanding of the UAE and Gulf financial markets and business environment, with an established institutional network and/or demonstrated ability to develop new client relationships.4. Proven track record in client relationship management and business development, with the ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with institutional clients, including sovereign wealth funds, financial institutions, large corporates and family offices.5. Strong presentation and public speaking skills, with the ability to deliver clear, professional and engaging presentations on business, market developments and investment opportunities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.6. Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with investment banking, capital markets, research and other business teams to deliver integrated solutions to clients.7. Fluent in English, with excellent business communication and written communication skills. Arabic proficiency is a strong advantage.8. Strong interest in and understanding of China’s capital markets and Chinese financial institutions. Experience working with Chinese financial institutions or China-related clients is preferred.9. Commercially minded, proactive and results-oriented, with strong market awareness, a collaborative mindset and the ability to operate effectively in a dynamic and international environment.
