The Institutional Strategist is a market-facing role thatconnects the Asset Management Department (AMD) with the Wealth Management andSales teams, ensuring that AMD's public Saudi equity strategies are wellunderstood, well positioned, and well distributed across the institutional andsophisticated-investor landscape.This person stays current on Saudi market developments,sector and company news, and macro/regulatory catalysts, and translates thatknowledge, together with a deep understanding of AMD's investment strategy,into productive conversations with asset owners, institutional investors,foreign investors, and government-related entities (GREs). They are therelationship bridge: supporting Sales/Wealth Management in front of clients,surfacing and qualifying new institutional relationships, and feeding marketintelligence and client feedback back into the investment team to sharpendecision-making and shape new product ideas.Key ResponsibilitiesMarket and strategy fluency Maintain an up-to-date, working knowledge of Saudi publicequity markets: index moves, sector themes, company news, earnings, corporateactions, and relevant regulatory/CMA developments. Develop a thorough understanding of AMD's investmentstrategy (quant core / fundamental satellite) well enough to represent itaccurately and credibly in front of clients and prospects.Client and network engagement Attend client meetings alongside the Sales/WealthManagement team as the AMD-side voice on strategy, positioning, and marketcontext. Attend industry events and conferences (including travelas required) to maintain visibility and expand AMD's institutional network. Maintain and grow a personal network of asset owners,institutional investors, foreign investors, and GREs relevant to Saudiequities. Follow up on leads generated by the business and originatenew leads independently, always coordinating with and routing client ownershipthrough the Wealth Management/Sales team to avoid conflicts with existingrelationships they own.Bridging AMD and the business side Act as the primary link between AMD and WealthManagement/Sales, ensuring each side has visibility into the other'spriorities, pipeline, and client feedback. Relay market color, client feedback, and investorsentiment gathered from meetings and events back to the AMD team in astructured, actionable way. Identify gaps in the current product suite or clientcoverage and contribute ideas for new products or strategy enhancements basedon direct market and client contact.Collaboration and reporting Coordinate proactively with Wealth Management to respectexisting client relationships and ensure a single, consistent voice reacheseach client. Provide regular updates to AMD leadership on marketdevelopments, competitive intelligence, and pipeline/lead status.Candidate ProfileRequired Saudi national. Prior experience on the sell-side with an AuthorizedPerson (AP) in Saudi Arabia, or comparable institutional coverage/salesexperience in the Saudi capital markets. An established, active network of institutional clients,foreign investors, and government-related entities (GREs). Deep, current understanding of the Saudi equity market andthe broader business environment it operates in. Strong communication and relationship-management skills,with the ability to represent an investment strategy credibly and accurately tosophisticated audiences. Willingness and ability to travel for client meetings andindustry events. Commercial judgment to identify and qualify leads whilerespecting existing client ownership boundaries between AMD and WealthManagement/Sales.Preferred Track record of successfully introducing or growinginstitutional mandates. Fluency in Arabic and English.
