This role focuses on translating change impacts into effective, user-centered training materials that help employees adopt new tools, processes, and ways of working.The Instructional Designer will partner closely with change managers and cross-functional stakeholders to understand learning needs and develop structured training assets. This role requires strong organizational skills, an understanding of adult learning principles, and the ability to create clear, actionable content for a variety of audiences.The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented learning professional who can design practical, scalable training materials and support successful adoption of organizational change.The BasicsDuration: 1 yearHours: 40 hours per weekLocation: Hybrid, based in Westlake, TX (preferred), Austin, TX, or Lone Tree, COOnsite Requirements: 4 days onsite per week (flexible on remote day)Top 3 Required Qualifications2 to 4 years of experience in instructional design, training development, or learning support rolesExperience designing structured training materials such as job aids, training guides, and learning modulesUnderstanding of adult learning principles and how training supports organizational change adoptionOther QualificationsExperience developing both instructor-led and self-paced training contentBasic understanding of change management concepts and frameworksStrong organizational and documentation skills with attention to detailAbility to manage multiple projects and timelines simultaneouslyStrong communication and collaboration skills across stakeholdersExperience working in fast-paced environments with evolving prioritiesFamiliarity with e-learning tools such as Articulate or Captivate is a plusExperience working with learning management systems (LMS) is a plusExposure to technology, process, or operating model changes is a plusKey ResponsibilitiesPartner with change managers and stakeholders to understand change impacts and identify learning needsDesign and develop training materials including instructor-led content, self-paced modules, job aids, and process guidesTranslate complex processes and changes into clear, user-friendly learning contentSupport development and execution of training plans aligned to change timelines and milestonesEnsure training materials are aligned with messaging, business goals, and desired user behaviorsParticipate in testing and refinement of training materials based on user feedbackSupport coordination with learning platforms, tools, and delivery partnersMaintain documentation and organization of training assets and materialsContribute to continuous improvement of training content and processesIn this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data, including financial information.
