Instructional Systems Designer

Location: Norfolk, Virginia, United StatesSecurity Clearance: Active Secret Clearance RequiredKey ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop eLearning courses, digital training materials, and instructional content.Create learning objectives, storyboards, assessments, course structures, and training resources.Develop, publish, and maintain SCORM-compliant eLearning content.Upload, manage, and maintain courses through LMS platforms such as Moodle.Use authoring tools to create interactive learning modules and digital training experiences.Collaborate with SMEs, government stakeholders, trainers, and technical teams.Evaluate learner performance and incorporate feedback to improve training effectiveness.Ensure learning content meets quality, accessibility, usability, and instructional standards.Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Training Development, or a related field.3+ years of eLearning or Instructional Design experience within the last 5 years.Hands-on experience with SCORM, LMS platforms, and eLearning authoring tools.Experience with Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise, Adobe Captivate, Lectora, or similar tools.Strong knowledge of storyboarding, learning objectives, assessments, and course development.Experience collaborating with SMEs and cross-functional stakeholders.
