This role is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in aesthetics, skin care, and hair design, following the institute’s approved curriculum and standards. Day-to-day tasks include preparing lesson plans, teaching theoretical and practical classes, supervising hands-on training, and demonstrating techniques that reflect current industry practices and technologies. The Instructor evaluates student performance, provides constructive feedback, maintains accurate academic records, and supports students in developing professional attitudes and workplace readiness. The role also involves collaborating with other faculty and staff to uphold compliance with regulatory requirements, support career placement initiatives, and contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment.Qualifications Demonstrated expertise in aesthetics, skin care, and hair design, with the ability to teach both foundational and advanced techniques.Experience providing hands-on education, including supervision of practical labs and client services in a school or professional setting.Knowledge of modern technologies and trends such as AI skin analysis, medical aesthetic procedures, and current products and tools.Strong instructional, communication, and classroom management skills, with the ability to engage and motivate diverse adult learners.Capability to integrate business development and career readiness concepts into instruction to support student success in the beauty industry.Relevant state licensure or certification in cosmetology, esthetics, or related field, and prior teaching or training experience preferred.Commitment to maintaining a professional, inclusive, and non-discriminatory learning environment that supports all students.Ability to work on-site full time in Amarillo, TX, collaborate with campus leadership, and meet regulatory and institutional standards.
