The company actively supports the growth of local industries and contributes to the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 and beyond.Role Description The Instrument Technician role is a full-time, on-site position based in Madinah. The Instrument Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and calibrating instrumentation and control systems used in paper manufacturing processes. Day-to-day tasks include performing routine inspections, diagnosing faults, troubleshooting equipment issues, and ensuring accurate readings from sensors and measuring devices. The role involves executing preventive maintenance plans, supporting process control optimization, and coordinating with operations and maintenance teams to minimize downtime and enhance equipment reliability. The Instrument Technician is also expected to follow safety procedures, maintain technical documentation, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.RequirementsDiploma or Degree in Instrumentation Engineering / Instrumentation Technology or a related field.Previous experience as an Instrumentation Technician is required; paper mill experience is preferred but not mandatory.Knowledge of industrial instrumentation, sensors, transmitters, control valves, and measuring devices.Ability to read and understand instrumentation drawings, loop diagrams, and P&IDs.Experience in instrument installation, calibration, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning.Knowledge of PLC, DCS, SCADA, and control systems is an advantage.Good understanding of instrumentation and electrical safety procedures.Ability to coordinate with engineers, electricians, contractors, and other technical teams.Good problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.Willingness to work on-site and support machinery installation and commissioning.PreferredExperience with industrial plants, process control systems, and automated machinery.Experience with pressure, temperature, flow, and level instruments.Paper mill experience is an advantage but not mandatory.Fresh candidates with relevant qualifications and strong technical knowledge may also be considered.
