The company emphasizes operational excellence, continuous improvement, and technical development, offering opportunities for skills growth and long-term careers.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Instrumentation Technician role based in Abu Dhabi. The Instrumentation Technician is responsible for installing, inspecting, calibrating, and maintaining instrumentation and control systems across the power plant. Day-to-day tasks include performing routine preventive maintenance, diagnosing faults, and troubleshooting issues in process control and monitoring equipment. The role involves working closely with operations and electrical teams to ensure accurate measurement, safe operation, and reliable plant performance. The Instrumentation Technician also updates maintenance records, follows safety procedures, and supports system upgrades and commissioning activities as needed.Qualifications Strong instrumentation and calibration skills, including experience with sensors, transmitters, analyzers, and control devices.Proficiency in process control systems and related field equipment, with the ability to interpret control logic and instrumentation diagrams.Demonstrated troubleshooting and fault-finding abilities on instrumentation and control systems in an industrial or power plant environment.Experience performing preventive maintenance on instrumentation, control panels, and associated equipment according to maintenance plans.Relevant technical diploma or degree in instrumentation, control engineering, electrical engineering, or a closely related field.Knowledge of safety standards, lockout/tagout procedures, and safe work practices in high-risk industrial facilities.Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals; familiarity with CMMS or digital maintenance systems is an advantage.Effective communication skills, ability to work in a team, and readiness to work shifts or irregular hours as required by plant operations.Previous experience in power generation, oil and gas, or heavy industrial plants is preferred.
