Instrumentation Technician IIJob Purpose: To perform and assist in routine, preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance activities for instrumentation equipment used across various plant operating units, ensuring equipment reliability, efficiency, and continuous support for cement and clinker production in accordance with approved plans and procedures.Qualifications & ExperienceIndustrial High School Certificate or equivalent: 0–2 years of relevant experience.Diploma in a related field: 0–1 year of relevant experience.Preferred fields include Instrumentation, Electronics, Control Systems, Industrial Electricity, or a related discipline.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in inspecting and checking instrumentation equipment across various plant operating units and identify required preventive or corrective maintenance activities.Participate in routine, preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance activities in accordance with approved maintenance plans and instructions.Assist in troubleshooting and performing basic inspection and maintenance of instrumentation and control equipment.Participate in scheduled preventive and annual maintenance activities.Assist in implementing equipment isolation and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures to ensure safe maintenance activities.Properly handle, store, and maintain tools and equipment used for instrumentation maintenance.Ensure protective covers and guards are properly reinstalled after maintenance activities.Maintain a clean and safe work area and ensure all tools, parts, and waste materials are removed after completing maintenance work.Comply with all applicable health, safety, and plant procedures.Required SkillsBasic knowledge of instrumentation and control systems.Basic knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance.Ability to use basic measuring and testing tools.Basic understanding of electrical isolation and LOTO procedures.Ability to read and understand basic technical drawings and maintenance instructions.Ability to work effectively in an industrial and field environment.Good teamwork and communication skills.Preferred: Previous training or experience in cement plants, manufacturing facilities, or other industrial environments.
