Insurance & Surety Intern

DescriptionSupport the team in managing the issuance, renewal, endorsements, and cancellation of insurance policies and surety bonds related to real estate projects. The role will also assist with document management, policy tracking, and reporting.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the analysis of client needs and act as a point of contact with insurance brokers, helping identify specific requirements and risks associated with each contract.Assist with the issuance, renewal, endorsement, and cancellation of insurance policies and surety bonds.Review coverage, costs, and terms before proposals are submitted.Respond to internal inquiries related to insurance policies and surety bond requirements.Support the Finance and Legal teams during insurance claims and surety bond execution processes.Maintain and update documentation related to active insurance policies and surety bonds.Support the preparation of management reports and KPIs.General Knowledge/CompetenciesDemonstrates CHRISTUS Core Values (Dignity, Integrity, Compassion, Excellence, and Stewardship) in relationships and work.Strong attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies in figures or legal documents.Ability to organize and prioritize multiple deliverables.Good communication skills.Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.Basic to intermediate English proficiency.RequirementsEducation:Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Economics, Law or related area.
