We bring physiotherapists, chiropractors, sports medicine specialists, and allied health professionals together under one roof, because integrated care delivers better outcomes for our patients.About the roleAs our Insurance Coordinator, based at our Abu Dhabi clinic, you'll be the vital link between DISC's clinical team, our patients, and insurance providers. You'll manage the full insurance claims process, from direct billing to reimbursement forms, and support patients with questions about claims, eligibility, covered benefits, and approval status.ResponsibilitiesManage claims and pre-approval submissions accurately and within deadlineProcess all insurance billing for patient servicesVerify eligibility and insurance coverage, and communicate this clearly to staff and patientsCoordinate and process payments from insurance carriers, troubleshooting any issues that ariseTrain front desk and reception staff on insurance and direct billing processesRespond to patient enquiries on claims, eligibility, covered benefits, and approval status, and handle complaints with careQualificationsMinimum three years' Insurance Coordinator experience in Abu DhabiStrong knowledge of CPT and ICD codes and medical terminologyA detail-oriented, data-driven approach, with the ability to multi-task in a high-pressure environmentA self-driven, organized approach to managing and prioritising your workload to meet deadlinesExcellent verbal and written communication skills in EnglishRequired Skills3+ years' Insurance Coordinator experience in Abu DhabiSolid Knowledge of CPT and ICD codes and medical terminologyStrong organizational and multi-tasking abilitiesExcellent English communication skillsFamiliarity with UAE insurer direct billing platformsCPC (Certified Professional Coder) certificationPreferred SkillsExperience training front-of-house or reception teams on insurance processesInvolvement in ADHICS, JAWDA, or other DOH regulatory audits and inspectionsOur valuesLearning - We grow through curiosity and knowledge-sharingIntegrity - We do the right thing, even when no one's watchingTeamwork - We are stronger and better togetherPlease note that only successful candidates will be contacted.
