Role Description:Position Overview: The Insurance Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the organization’s insurance and risk management functions. The role is responsible for coordinating insurance policies, assisting in the administration of coverage for construction projects, corporate assets, employees, and operational activities, and ensuring timely claims management and compliance with insurance requirements. The position requires strong experience in construction-related insurance, including policies associated with large-scale projects such as high-rise developments, infrastructure works, and complex construction undertakings. The Senior Insurance Coordinator works closely with insurers, brokers, project teams, and internal departments to ensure comprehensive and cost-effective insurance coverage while minimizing organizational risk.Key ResponsibilitiesInsurance Coordination & Administration • Coordinate and administer all corporate and project-related insurance policies. • Assist in securing appropriate insurance coverage for construction projects, assets, employees, and operations. • Maintain insurance policy records, documentation, endorsements, and renewals. • Monitor insurance coverage validity and ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.Construction and Project Insurance Support • Support the insurance requirements of construction projects including high-rise towers, infrastructure developments, and large-scale residential/commercial projects. • Assist in the implementation and administration of Owner-Controlled Insurance Programs (OCIP) and Principal-Controlled Insurance Programs (PCIP). • Coordinate with project teams to ensure insurance requirements are aligned with project contracts and risk exposure..Insurance Policy Management • Motor and Non-Motor Insurance (including STRATA) • Medical and Life Insurance • Professional Indemnity (PI), Cyber Liability, and Directors & Officers (D&O) • Workers’ Compensation (WC) • Construction Insurance (CAR, EAR, OCIP, PCIP) • Property and Asset InsuranceEducational Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Insurance, Risk Management, or a related field.• Professional certifications (e.g., ACII, AIII) are highly preferred. Experience:• Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in insurance management, with a strong focus on mega projects, tall towers, and unique construction developments.• Proven track record of managing OCIP and PCIP policies for large-scale and complex projects.• Comprehensive knowledge of insurance clauses, wordings, and regulatory compliance. • Extensive experience working with developers, insurers, brokers, and reinsurers.
