Insurance Defense / General Liability Defense Attorney

My client, a top law firm, is seeking a motivated Associate Attorney with 3 to 15 years of experience to join their San Antonio litigation team.This position will focus on general liability/insurance defense, providing a unique opportunity to handle complex cases in a collaborative and client-focused environmentKey ResponsibilitiesManage all aspects of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial preparationConduct legal research and draft memoranda, pleadings, and motionRepresent clients in court appearances, mediations, and arbitrationCommunicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and insurance carrierDevelop litigation strategies and work closely with senior attorneys and partnerQualificationsJ.D. from an accredited law school3 – 15 years of experience in general liability and/or transportation liability defenseActive license/ In good standing to practice laStrong analytical, research, and writing skillExcellent communication and advocacy skillAbility to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentSalary and Other CompensationThe annual salary for this position is between $150k-225k base. Factors which may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
