With a diverse portfolio of businesses, PIH continues to drive sustainable growth through innovation, excellence, and strategic investments.We are seeking an experienced Insurance Manager to oversee the Group’s insurance operations and commercial risk management activities. The role will be responsible for managing insurance coverage, claims, renewals, risk assessments, and project-related insurance requirements, while working closely with brokers, insurers, underwriters, and key stakeholders to ensure effective and cost-efficient risk protection across the Group.Key ResponsibilitiesManage daily insurance requirements across all business units in line with established policies and procedures.Conduct risk assessments and ensure assets are appropriately insured.Manage annual insurance policy renewals, policy administration, amendments, additions, and deletions.Lead claims reporting and settlements with insurance companies and loss adjusters.Prepare and maintain loss details, loss-ratio records, and annual insurance analysis reports.Manage underwriting requirements and ensure adherence to applicable insurance guidelines.Analyze insurance data to optimize coverage and maintain feasible insurance costs.Manage Insurance Operations – Commercial Risks and support high-performance standards.Maintain effective relationships with insurance markets, underwriters, and claims managers.Review and evaluate project contracts, tender documents, and projects insurance requirements.Review, coordinate, and manage lender’s driven contracts and insurance requirements (e.g. CTA, PPA, EPC, FA, CA, etc.)Review, coordinate and assist in drafting contracts insurance schedules.Coordinate with brokers, consultants, and LIA in regard to various insurance related matters.Coordinate and manage projects insurance requirements including but not limited to CAR/DSU, Marine DSU, SPPI, CPM, and others.RequirementsMinimum 8 years’ total experience, including 5 years of relevant insurance experience.GCC experience is an advantage.Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Public Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.Professional insurance certification such as CII, CILA, III.Strong knowledge of insurance claims processing, insurance procurement, and local insurance markets.Experience working with insurance markets, underwriters, and claims managers.Knowledge of insurance laws, regulations, standards, procedures, and legal requirements.ERP knowledge, preferably SAP functional skills, is required.Understanding of regional geopolitical developments is an advantage.Strong leadership, quality, resilience, agility, and risk management capabilities.Experience in lenders’ driven projects and related insurance requirements including various types of contracts and insurance schedules.Experience in project related insurance policies and reinsurance placements.
