Team members join a growing organization with opportunities to contribute to impactful financial solutions across West Africa.Role Description This is a full-time, hybrid Insurance Sales Representative role based in Lagos, with a mix of on-site and work-from-home responsibilities. The Insurance Sales Representative will identify and engage prospective clients, present appropriate insurance products, and guide customers through policy selection and enrollment. Day-to-day tasks include conducting sales meetings, preparing and delivering tailored proposals, following up on leads, and maintaining accurate records of client interactions and sales activities. The role involves responding to customer inquiries, providing policy explanations, handling basic claims-related questions, and ensuring a positive client experience. The Insurance Sales Representative will collaborate with internal teams, meet defined sales targets, and stay informed about Leadway’s product portfolio, regulatory requirements, and market trends.Qualifications Strong Insurance Sales and Sales skills, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.Practical knowledge of Insurance products and Insurance Brokerage practices.Proficient Customer Service skills, with the ability to build long-term, trust-based client relationships.Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment in Lagos, managing time and priorities independently.Relevant experience in insurance or financial services; professional certifications in insurance or sales are an advantage.Minimum of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, finance, marketing, or related fields.Working knowledge of CRM tools and basic Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
