This role is responsible for managing insurance policies related to the company’s engineering and contracting activities, including reviewing coverage terms, monitoring renewals, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. The Insurance Specialist will liaise with insurance brokers and providers, negotiate policy conditions, and support claims handling to protect company interests. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing risks, preparing documentation, maintaining accurate records, and providing guidance to internal stakeholders on insurance-related matters. The role also involves responding to inquiries, supporting internal audits, and contributing to continuous improvement of insurance processes.QualificationsCandidates should possess a minimum of 3 years of experience.Candidates should possess skills in Insurance and Insurance Brokerage for managing policies, coverage, and claims.Candidates should possess skills in Finance for premium analysis, budgeting, and cost optimization.Candidates should possess skills in Communication for clear coordination with brokers, insurers, and internal teams.Candidates should possess skills in Customer Service to address internal stakeholder needs and resolve issues professionally.Relevant experience in corporate or commercial insurance, ideally within engineering, construction, or related sectors.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.Proficiency in using office and insurance-related software; familiarity with regional insurance regulations is an advantage.Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Risk Management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
