In addition to core programs, Starglazze offers short courses in Accent training, Presenting to Camera, and Improvisation to address diverse industry needs. Learners gain practical, industry-relevant skills designed to prepare them for careers in film, television, and related media fields.Role Description The Intake Counselor is a full-time, on-site role based in the Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad area. The individual in this role will be the first point of contact for prospective students, conducting intake interviews, understanding their interests and goals, and guiding them toward suitable programs. Day-to-day responsibilities include assessing applicants’ needs, explaining course offerings and admission processes, maintaining accurate intake records, and coordinating with academic and administrative teams to ensure a smooth enrollment experience. The Intake Counselor will also provide basic counseling support, respond to inquiries via phone, email, and in-person meetings, and assist in information sessions or open house events. The role requires consistent professional communication, adherence to institutional policies, and a supportive approach to diverse learners.Qualifications Candidates should possess skills in Counseling and Psychology to understand learner needs, provide guidance, and handle sensitive conversations appropriately.Candidates should possess strong Communication skills to effectively explain programs, respond to inquiries, and interact with diverse students, families, and staff.Candidates should possess Social Work and Case Management skills to support students through the intake process, track their progress, and connect them with relevant resources.Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Education, or a related field are beneficial.Experience in educational counseling, student services, or admissions, preferably within creative or vocational training environments, is an advantage.Ability to work on-site full-time, manage multiple cases simultaneously, maintain confidentiality, and use basic office and student management software effectively.
