Integration Engineer

Role ObjectiveWe are looking for an experienced IBM ACE Senior Developer with strong expertise in enterprise integration, API management, middleware solutions, IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE), and IBM MQ. The role involves designing, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting scalable and secure integration solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesIntegration DevelopmentDevelop and optimize integration flows using IBM ACE/IIB.Integrate applications, databases, and services using REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, and IBM MQ.Develop reusable and scalable integration components.System Design & AnalysisTranslate business requirements into technical integration solutions.Collaborate with Business Analysts, Architects, and technical teams.Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture standards.Testing & QualityPerform unit testing, integration testing, debugging, and defect resolution.Work with QA teams to ensure solution quality, reliability, and performance.Deployment & SupportManage deployments across Development, QA, and Production environments.Monitor integration flows, troubleshoot production issues, and optimize performance.Collaboration & DocumentationWork closely with business users, architects, operations teams, consultants, and vendors.Provide technical guidance and follow coding standards.Maintain technical documentation and ensure compliance with security and organizational standards.Support the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).Required Qualifications & ExperienceB.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering or equivalent.10+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise integration.Strong experience in IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) and IBM MQ.Experience delivering integration solutions across domains such as banking, insurance, reinsurance, and logistics.International project/client-site experience is preferred.Technical SkillsIBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE), IBM Integration Bus (IIB), WebSphere Message Broker.IBM MQ and asynchronous messaging.ESQL and basic Shell scripting.REST APIs, SOAP services, and Microservices.XML, JSON, DFDL, CSV, MRM, ISO8583, and XMLNSC.Data mapping, schema design, and validation.Jenkins, Git, CI/CD, and DevOps.Unit and integration testing.SOAPUI and Postman.Basic knowledge of Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL.Basic knowledge of AIX/Linux.Basic understanding of IBM API Connect and frontend technologies.Key CompetenciesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and stakeholder management.Customer-focused and collaborative approach.Process improvement and quality orientation.Creativity and innovation.Ability to manage conflicts and resolve technical issues effectively.
