Apply & track with Apply EdgeIntegration Specialist – Enterprise APIs & Digital PlatformsWork Model: Remote Language: English required; Arabic highly preferredAbout the RoleDigital Next is looking for an experienced Integration Specialist – Enterprise APIs & Digital Platforms to support major enterprise and government digital transformation programmes.The role is responsible for designing, implementing, testing and supporting secure, reliable and scalable integrations between digital platforms, CMS/DXP solutions, enterprise applications, internal systems and approved external services.We are looking for a hands-on integration specialist who can take an interface from requirements and API contract → technical design → implementation → testing → production readiness and support.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement secure enterprise integrations using REST, SOAP, GraphQL and other applicable API technologies.Define and maintain API contracts, interface specifications, data mappings, schemas, authentication requirements and error-handling mechanisms.Implement integrations through approved API gateways, middleware and enterprise integration layers.Design and support push, pull, synchronous and asynchronous integration patterns as required.Integrate CMS, DXP and enterprise web platforms with internal applications, content repositories and external services.Work closely with development teams to implement integration capabilities using APIs, extensions and reusable integration components.Implement and troubleshoot authentication and authorization mechanisms including OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect (OIDC).Apply secure integration and API-security practices covering authentication, authorization, encryption, secrets, access control and data protection.Perform integration testing, troubleshooting, defect resolution, performance validation and production-readiness assessment.Diagnose integration failures across APIs, applications, middleware, authentication layers and external systems.Maintain accurate API specifications, interface documentation, mappings, configuration records and technical documentation.Support deployment, release, production troubleshooting and integration-related operational activities.Coordinate with solution architecture, security, infrastructure/cloud, development, QA and external system teams.Identify opportunities to create reusable integration patterns and components across projects.Required Skills & ExperienceEssentialStrong hands-on experience in enterprise system integration and API development.Strong knowledge of REST, SOAP, JSON, XML and GraphQL.Strong experience with OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect and API authentication/authorization patterns.Experience working with API gateways, middleware or enterprise integration platforms.Experience integrating CMS, DXP or enterprise web platforms with backend and third-party systems.Strong understanding of API security and secure enterprise integration patterns.Experience defining API contracts, data mappings, error handling and integration specifications.Strong troubleshooting and integration-testing capabilities.Ability to work across development, architecture, security and infrastructure teams.Ability to independently take an integration from technical design through implementation and production readiness.Highly DesirableExperience with Microsoft Azure-based environments and Azure integration services.Hands-on experience integrating Liferay DXP with enterprise systems and external services.Experience with enterprise API management and integration platforms.Experience with event-driven or asynchronous integration patterns.Experience with CI/CD and modern software delivery practices.Experience working on large-scale enterprise or government digital platforms.Arabic language capability.LanguageEnglish is required. Arabic is highly preferred.
