Secondments vary in length and scope and may span different sectors and legal disciplines, while you remain fully supported by the RAYNE team throughout. Our model is built on trust, flexibility, and long-term relationships with both our clients and our consultants.We are looking to hire several IP lawyers to our team over the coming months, across multiple levels of seniority and across the GCC.Key ResponsibilitiesAdvise on trademark, copyright, patent, and design rights protection, registration, and enforcement.Draft, review, and negotiate licensing agreements, IP assignments, franchise agreements, and technology transfer agreements.Provide legal guidance on IP portfolio management, brand protection strategies, and anti-counterfeiting measures.Conduct IP due diligence and risk assessments in connection with corporate transactions and commercial deals.Manage IP disputes, infringement matters, and enforcement actions, including liaison with regulatory bodies and local authorities.Support cross-border IP matters, ensuring compliance with international and regional regulations.Qualifications5+ years PQE admitted in a major international jurisdiction.5+ years of IP experience at either a top-tier international law firm or in-house within an IP/legal function.Strong background in trademarks, patents, copyright, and licensing.Proven ability to handle complex IP portfolios and enforcement matters.Excellent drafting, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.Regional experience required.Arabic language skills is a plus but not required.If you are looking for a fixed term assignment in the Middle East, we would love to hear from you!Company DescriptionRAYNE is changing the way leading multinationals, start-ups, and government entities across the Middle East access high-calibre legal talent through flexible resourcing solutions.
