The team works closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care and positive health outcomes for patients in the community.Role Description The Intensive Care Nurse is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, providing advanced nursing care to patients with critical and complex conditions in a home based intensive care setting. Day-to-day responsibilities include assessing patient status, monitoring vital signs, administering medications and therapies as prescribed, and managing life-support equipment and other critical care devices. The role involves implementing care plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals, responding promptly to changes in patient condition, and initiating appropriate emergency interventions. The nurse will educate patients and families on care procedures, support rehabilitation and recovery goals, maintain accurate clinical documentation, and adhere to infection control, safety, and regulatory standards.QualificationsStrong foundation in general Nursing, including patient assessment, care planning, and medication administration.Demonstrated skills in Critical Care Nursing for managing high-acuity, unstable patients, including ventilated and post-operative cases.Experience or familiarity with Critical Care Medicine principles, supporting collaboration with physicians on complex treatment plans.Competence in Emergency Nursing, including rapid triage, crisis management, and implementation of life-saving interventions.Working knowledge of Medicine relevant to intensive care, such as cardiology, respiratory care, and infection management.Valid nursing license/registration in the UAE or eligibility to obtain one; prior ICU or HDU experience is strongly preferred.Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (or equivalent recognized qualification), with Advanced Life Support/Basic Life Support certifications.Ability to work flexible shifts, maintain accurate clinical records, and communicate clearly and respectfully with patients and families.Commitment to ethical, culturally sensitive, gender-neutral, and non-discriminatory care aligned with organizational policies.
