Intensivist

Role Description The Intensivist at Magical Sky will provide comprehensive care to critically ill patients in the intensive care unit, including assessment, diagnosis, and management of complex medical conditions. Daily responsibilities include leading multidisciplinary rounds, coordinating treatment plans, performing necessary procedures, and monitoring patient progress. The role also involves close collaboration with pulmonology, anesthesiology, nursing, and other specialties to optimize outcomes and ensure adherence to clinical guidelines. The Intensivist will participate in clinical decision-making, documentation, and quality and safety initiatives related to critical care services. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Jeddah.QualificationsStrong foundation in general Medicine with proven experience managing acutely and critically ill adult patients.Expertise in Critical Care Medicine, including ventilator management, hemodynamic monitoring, and advanced life support.Competency in Pulmonology relevant to ICU care, such as managing respiratory failure and complex pulmonary conditions.Familiarity with Anesthesiology principles and procedures commonly encountered in perioperative and critical care settings.Ability to collaborate effectively with Critical Care Nursing teams and other allied health professionals in an ICU environment.Board certification or equivalent qualification in Intensive Care, Internal Medicine, Anesthesiology, or a related specialty, as applicable.Valid medical license and eligibility to practice in the relevant jurisdiction; prior experience in tertiary or teaching hospitals is an advantage.Strong communication skills, capacity to work under pressure, commitment to ethical practice, and dedication to continuous learning.
