By aligning quality patient care with sustainable revenue models, we help partners grow while serving their communities more effectively.Role Description The Intensivist will provide comprehensive critical care to patients in the ICU, including assessment, diagnosis, and management of complex medical conditions. Day-to-day responsibilities include rounding on ICU patients, coordinating multidisciplinary care, supervising and guiding nursing and support staff, and making timely decisions regarding investigations and interventions. The role also involves close collaboration with pulmonology, anesthesiology, and other specialties, participation in clinical protocols, and documentation in accordance with hospital standards. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mahoba, requiring consistent presence for inpatient care, clinical meetings, and emergency response within the unit.QualificationsStrong foundation in internal Medicine and Critical Care Medicine, with experience managing critically ill patients.Competence in Pulmonology for the evaluation and treatment of respiratory failure and ventilated patients.Exposure to Anesthesiology practices, including perioperative care and sedation/analgesia in the ICU.Ability to collaborate effectively with Critical Care Nursing teams to ensure safe, standardized patient care.Relevant postgraduate qualification in critical care, internal medicine, anesthesia, or pulmonology (e.g., MBBS, DNB, fellowship in critical care).Current medical license and certifications as required by local regulations (e.g., ACLS, BLS).Strong clinical judgment, clear communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure in high-acuity environments.Commitment to continuous learning, adherence to ethical standards, and participation in quality improvement activities.
