Interaction DeveloperBuild websites people remember.At Wings, we're looking for an Interaction Developer who wants to push the web beyond conventional layouts and standard frontend development.Our ambition is simple: build digital experiences with the level of craft, motion and interaction you see on Awwwards.Think cinematic scrolling, unexpected transitions, immersive storytelling, WebGL/3D experiences, beautifully choreographed motion, and interfaces where design and technology work as one.You'll work closely with our UI/UX, motion and 3D teams to turn ambitious creative concepts into fast, polished, production-ready websites.Roles & ResponsibilitiesDevelop highly interactive, animation-rich and visually distinctive websites.Translate Figma designs, motion references and creative concepts into pixel-perfect frontend experiences.Build advanced scroll-based interactions, page transitions, micro-interactions and motion systems.Create and integrate WebGL / Three.js / 3D experiences where required.Work extensively with tools such as GSAP, ScrollTrigger, Lenis and other modern JavaScript animation libraries.Collaborate with designers and 3D artists to determine what is creatively ambitious and technically achievable.Prototype interaction ideas quickly before moving into full production.Ensure animations feel smooth and intentional across desktop, tablet and mobile.Optimise rendering, assets, animation loops and loading behaviour for strong real-world performance.Maintain responsiveness and browser compatibility without compromising the creative experience.Take ownership of interaction quality from prototype through development, QA and launch.Continuously explore emerging creative-development techniques and bring new ideas into the team.What We're Looking ForStrong command of HTML, CSS and JavaScript.Excellent understanding of animation principles and interaction design.Hands-on experience with GSAP / ScrollTrigger or comparable animation frameworks.Experience developing smooth scroll-driven experiences.Working knowledge of Three.js / WebGL is highly preferred.Strong understanding of responsive development and modern frontend practices.Ability to translate complex visual designs into highly accurate implementations.Good understanding of performance optimisation for animation-heavy websites.Strong attention to timing, easing, transitions, spacing and visual details.Ability to collaborate closely with designers rather than simply developing from static screens.Bonus Points Experience with any of the following would be a strong advantage: Three.js · WebGL · GLSL/Shaders · React · Next.js · Webflow · Framer Motion · Lenis · Barba.js · Theatre.js · Rive · Lottie · Blender / 3D pipelinesYour Portfolio Matters More Than Your Degree We're looking for people who can demonstrate real interactive work. Your portfolio should ideally include websites or experiments involving animation, creative coding, WebGL, 3D, scroll storytelling or unconventional interaction.If you regularly browse Awwwards, CSS Design Awards, SiteInspire or Codrops and find yourself wondering "How did they build that?" — you're probably the kind of person we want to meet.The Goal We're not hiring someone just to develop websites.
