The successful candidate will help transform creative concepts into coordinated, well-documented design solutions while ensuring design intent is maintained throughout project development.ResponsibilitiesSupport the development of interior design concepts from schematic design through design development and documentation stages.Prepare space planning layouts, design studies, mood boards, presentation materials, and visualizations.Produce design drawings, reports, schedules, and project documentation under the guidance of senior designers.Assist in the development of design presentations, client-facing materials, design packages, and project submissions.Coordinate interior design packages with architectural, structural, MEP, lighting, landscape, signage, and specialist consultant disciplines.Participate in interdisciplinary design workshops, coordination meetings, and internal design reviews.Assist in reviewing consultant drawings, technical submissions, third-party consultant submissions, and subcontractor design packages for consistency with approved design intent.Support Lead Design Consultant activities by tracking design comments, coordination issues, and consultant responses.Help identify and resolve design clashes and coordination issues throughout project development.Support design compliance reviews against project briefs, brand standards, employer requirements, applicable codes, and approved design intent.Research and compile information on materials, finishes, furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E).Assist with material selection, sample boards, finish presentations, FF&E schedules, and specification documentation.Maintain project material libraries, supplier information, project records, and design documentation.Assist in responding to consultant queries, RFIs, and design-related coordination issues.Support project teams during authority submissions, tender documentation, and construction phases.Assist in preparing client presentations, workshop materials, design narratives, competition entries, design reports, and marketing materials when required.Support the implementation of sustainable design principles throughout project development and assist in achieving project sustainability objectives.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related discipline from an accredited institution.Minimum 4–5 years of professional experience in hospitality, branded residential, commercial, retail, mixed-use, entertainment, or healthcare interior design projects.Strong understanding of design development, documentation, consultant coordination, and project delivery processes.Understanding of authority submission requirements and consultant coordination processes is advantageous.Ability to work collaboratively with architects, engineers, and specialist consultants.Good understanding of furniture, finishes, materials, FF&E, and interior specifications.Strong graphic communication, visualization, and presentation skills.Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to work across multiple projects.Technical SkillsProficiency in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite.Experience with design authoring tools including Revit, Rhino, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.Familiarity with collaboration platforms including BIM 360 and Autodesk Construction Cloud.Experience with visualization tools including Enscape, V-Ray, and 3ds Max.Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office Suite.Familiarity with interoperability workflows between Revit, Rhino, AutoCAD, and visualization software.Understanding of BIM workflows and collaborative project environments.Experience preparing coordinated design documentation and presentation materials.Preferred AttributesStrong design sense with the ability to translate concepts into coordinated and buildable design solutions.Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams.Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining design intent and documentation quality.Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of working independently under the guidance of senior designers.Strong presentation, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills.Interest in sustainable design, material innovation, and continuous professional development.Please submit /forward your CV to recruitment.mena@meinhardtgroup.com if you meet the above requirements.Good Luck
