In this role, you will bridge spatial design and strength equipment engineering—transforming raw blueprints into functional, high-converting 2D CAD floor plans and photorealistic 3D renders for luxury private gyms, commercial fitness clubs, boutique studios, and hospitality projects across the UAE.Key Responsibilities2D Space Planning & CAD LayoutsDraft precise, high-conversion 2D AutoCAD layouts that balance training flow, equipment footprint, electrical drops, and user biomechanics.Implement functional zoning (strength, free weights, functional/turf, cardio, and recovery) while maintaining mandatory safety clearances (1.5–2.0 m main walkways).Ensure all spatial designs comply with UAE local building, accessibility, and Civil Defense fire & life safety regulations.3D Rendering & Visual StorytellingModel and render photorealistic 3D interior views, cinematic lighting, material textures, and walkthrough animations using modern rendering engines.Create visually compelling client presentation decks to assist commercial sales teams in closing high-value turnkey fit-outs.Technical Estimation & Site SurveysExtract accurate Bill of Quantities (BOQs) and equipment schedules directly from finalized layout drawings.Conduct on-site spatial surveys and laser measurements across project sites in the UAE to verify structural dimensions, ceiling heights, and utility points.Coordinate with sales managers and fit-out contractors during the pre-installation phase to ensure layout feasibility.Key RequirementsEducation: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Interior Architecture, Spatial Design, Architecture, or a related field.Experience: 2+ years of dedicated spatial design experience in commercial gyms, fitness facilities, sports venues, or commercial interior fit-outs.Software Mastery: Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and 3D modeling/rendering platforms (SketchUp, 3ds Max, Lumion, Corona, V-Ray, or Blender).Technical Space Literacy: Understanding of MEP power locations, flooring transitions, mirror alignments, and equipment clearance dynamics.Site Mobility: Hands-on capability to conduct physical site surveys across the UAE.Portfolio: A verifiable portfolio showing 2D technical layout plans and high-resolution 3D interior renders is strictly required.How to ApplySubmit your CV along with your portfolio link or PDF to cs@1rm.ae with the subject line: "Application: Commercial Gym Designer - [Your Name]"
