Apply & track with Apply EdgeThe candidate will be responsible for preparing design concepts, drawings, material selections, and presentations while coordinating with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered according to design requirements.Key Responsibilities
- Develop interior design concepts based on client requirements, project brief, andbudget.
- Prepare detailed 2D drawings, layouts, elevations, sections, and 3D visualizations.
- Develop mood boards, material boards, color schemes, and furniture selections.
- Select appropriate finishes, fixtures, furniture, lighting, and decorative elements.
- Prepare and update design presentations for client approval.
- Coordinate with architects, MEP consultants, contractors, suppliers, and other projectstakeholders.
- Conduct site visits and ensure the design is implemented according to approveddrawings and specifications.
- Review shop drawings, material samples, and technical details.
- Prepare material and furniture specifications and assist with quantity requirementswhen needed.
- Make design revisions based on client feedback and project requirements.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable building codes, regulations, and projectstandards.
- Monitor project progress and resolve design-related issues during execution.
- Maintain organized records of drawings, specifications, approvals, and revisions.
- Stay updated on current interior design trends, materials, finishes, and industrydevelopments.Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Interior Designer, preferably in residential, commercial,hospitality, or fit-out projects.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Revit,Lumion, Photoshop, or equivalent tools.
- Strong understanding of materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and construction details.
- Good knowledge of space planning and interior design principles.
- Ability to read and understand architectural and technical drawings.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Good attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Knowledge of local construction and fit-out practices is an advantage.
