Interior Designer Draftman

Company Description Studio Core Design is an interior consulting and 3D rendering studio founded in 2020 by Interior Designer Praveen Nishad and based in Mumbai. The firm focuses on comprehensive and innovative interior design solutions supported by advanced 3D visualization. Services cover residential, office, and commercial spaces, tailored to each client’s functional and aesthetic needs. Team members collaborate closely with clients to translate concepts into clear, detailed designs that can be efficiently executed.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Interior Designer Draftman role based in Thane. The Interior Designer Draftman will prepare detailed 2D drawings and 3D models for residential and commercial projects, including layouts, elevations, sections, and joinery details. Day-to-day responsibilities include converting design concepts into accurate technical drawings, coordinating with the design team to refine plans, and updating drawings based on feedback and site conditions. The role also involves supporting material selection, maintaining drawing standards and documentation, and aligning deliverables with project timelines and client requirements.Qualifications Strong proficiency in CAD and 3D design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) for creating precise drawings and visualizations.Solid understanding of interior design principles, space planning, and detailing for residential, office, and commercial projects.Ability to read, interpret, and produce architectural drawings, working drawings, and construction documentation.Knowledge of materials, finishes, fixtures, and current interior design trends relevant to practical project execution.Good communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with designers, contractors, and clients.Strong attention to detail, time management, and ability to handle multiple projects within deadlines.Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field; prior experience as a draftsperson or interior design intern is an advantage.Willingness to work on-site in Thane and visit project sites when required.
