Intermediate Accountant – Australian Tax & Accounting

Join our supportive team and grow your career with us.Job Responsibilities:Manage financial records and transactions.Process payroll and ensure tax compliance.Prepare BAS, IAS documentation.Assist with month-end and year-end closings.Prepare Individual Tax Returns (ITR).Prepare the company tax returns.Handle FBT, TPAR preparation according to the requirements.Process and calculate quarter End superannuation payments.Perform Year end , Quarter end journal adjustments.Complete BAS reconciliation.Manage ICA , ITA reconciliation.Payroll Processing.Improve accounting processes.Contribute to ad-hoc financial projects.Qualifications, Skills and Experience:A Degree or Diploma in Accounting & Finance from a recognized university.Fully qualified in AAT and partly qualified in ICASL (Corporate Level), CMA, ACCA, CIMA, or CPA, currently working towards full qualification, with a strong educational background.2-3 years of accounting experience, preferably with audit exposure.Experience in Australian accounting and bookkeeping within a reputed BPO organization, with proficiency in Xero being an advantage.Strong analytical, multitasking, and detail-oriented skills.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.A genuine interest in pursuing a long-term career in Australian accounting and taxation.Working arrangements:This role is hybrid, with a minimum of 2 days per week in our Colombo office.
