Our Analytics team partners with every part of the business, from collections and onboarding to marketing and operations, turning raw data into decisions. This is a hands-on BI role with real room to shape what gets built, how it's used and the change it drives. What you'll doBuild and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards that drive day-to-day decisions across the groupWrite efficient SQL against our data warehouse for ad-hoc questions and recurring reportingWork closely with Data Engineering and Data Science to get the most from our data platformTurn vague business questions into clear analysis, and clear analysis into practical recommendationsFind opportunities to improve KPI performance in the business areas you support(Senior) Own the reporting roadmap for a business area and mentor other analysts What you'll bring3- 5 years' experience as a Data Analyst, BI Analyst, BI Developer, SQL Developer, Insights Analyst or similarStrong SQL: you write, optimise and debug complex queries independentlySolid hands-on Power BI experience (Tableau or Looker also considered)A degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, Informatics, Information Systems, Operations Research or a similar numerate fieldSharp analytical thinking, attention to detail and comfort with ambiguityStrong written and verbal communication, working both independently and in a team Bonus points forMicrosoft Fabric experienceDAX and Power BI data modelling beyond drag-and-drop visualsExperience in financial services, credit, lending or another regulated environment Why ConfluentPurpose you can see: every dashboard you ship helps more South Africans toward financial healthEvery voice counts: we value diversity of thought, and good ideas get heard whatever your titleRoom to grow: learn from leaders who are experts in their field and share what they know
