The company is committed to providing reliable, efficient, and tailored logistics support to a diverse portfolio of customers.Role Description The Intern role at Afaq Express Cargo is a hybrid internship based in Jeddah, with some work-from-home flexibility. The intern will support daily logistics operations, including assisting with shipment documentation, data entry, and coordination between internal teams. Responsibilities may include helping track freight movements, organizing warehouse and inventory information, and supporting last-mile delivery and project cargo tasks. The intern will also assist with basic customer communication, preparing reports, and maintaining accurate records in line with company procedures. This role is designed to provide practical exposure to international logistics and supply chain processes while contributing to the team’s operational efficiency.Qualifications Strong interest in logistics, supply chain management, or related business fields, with foundational knowledge of freight forwarding or transportation concepts.Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., MS Excel, Word, and email), with the ability to handle data entry and documentation accurately.Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work professionally with diverse teams and stakeholders.Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to follow established processes.Ability to adapt to a hybrid work environment in Jeddah, demonstrating reliability, accountability, and willingness to learn.Enrollment in or recent completion of a diploma or degree program in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline is preferred.English proficiency; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
