The intern will support consulting projects by assisting with research, data collection, and analysis to inform client recommendations. Day-to-day tasks may include preparing presentation materials, drafting summaries of findings, organizing project documentation, and helping coordinate meetings or workshops. The intern will collaborate with team members to contribute to strategic initiatives, learn standard consulting tools and frameworks, and participate in internal discussions on client solutions. This role is designed to provide practical experience in business consulting and exposure to the firm’s approach to sustainable growth and operational excellence.
Qualifications
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including comfort working with data, identifying trends, and drawing clear conclusions.Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare concise summaries, presentations, and professional emails.Organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.Collaborative mindset, with willingness to learn from feedback, work in teams, and contribute proactively to shared goals.Proficiency with common productivity tools (e.g., spreadsheets, slide presentation software, word processing) and openness to learning new systems.Interest in business consulting, strategy, and operational improvement; prior coursework or projects in business, economics, or related fields are beneficial.Ability to work on-site in the Washington DC–Baltimore Area and adhere to professional conduct, confidentiality, and ethical standards.
