The role focuses on electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, equipment installation and repair, as well as providing technical support to production operations. The intern will gain hands-on exposure to industrial machinery and utilities while supporting equipment reliability, continuous improvement initiatives, and compliance with engineering, quality, and safety standards.Responsibility: -Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair work, including responding to emergency equipment breakdowns.Carry out electrical and mechanical installation and modification work as required.Perform preventive maintenance activities and ensure that Engineering SOPs and preventive maintenance checklists are properly maintained and completed.Conduct routine inspections and operational checks on scrubbers, building utilities, machinery, and other electrical and mechanical equipment.Provide technical and engineering support to Production, including troubleshooting, problem-solving, equipment modifications, and continuous improvement initiatives.Provide technical expertise and assistance in resolving mechanical and electrical equipment issues across the department and factory, where required.Undertake duties, instructions, and assignments delegated by immediate supervisors or relevant engineering authorities.Ensure all work activities comply with the company’s Environmental, Quality, and Energy policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), as well as 5S and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).Ensure compliance with all company rules, regulations, policies, fire safety requirements, and workplace health and safety procedures at all times.What can you expect from Ansell?Work for a world leader in the health and safety protection solutions industry.A diverse and international work environment.What will you bring?Pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (e.g., Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related fields.)Good Engineering Fundamental and have interest in Manufacturing environment.Good communication and organizational skills.Willing to work onsite at the Kedah manufacturing site.Proactive, responsible, and eager to learn.Basic knowledge in IEE wiring and safety regulations and JPE Acts.Equal Opportunity StatementAnsell commits to securing an equal opportunity recruitment and selection process.All interested candidates are encouraged to apply and will receive consideration for employment regardless of sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, race, color, ethnic origin, religion, disability, genetic information or any other factors that could be deemed discriminatory.
