Our social-impact vertical, URJA Academy, has built an established track record in Public-Private Partnerships (PPP) and CSR-funded programs — including training 12,000+ law enforcement personnel in resilience and wellness across multiple Indian states, certifying policewomen in Gurugram as coaches, delivering structured programs across 13+ schools, and pursuing government-backed coach certification proposals internationally (including with Sri Lanka's sports and health institutions). We work with sector skill councils, sports authorities, NCC units, universities, and corporate CSR desks to fund and scale this work under India's CSR framework (Schedule VII).Building on this base, we're now developing the URJA Academy Fellowship — a new youth coach certification initiative for 18–25-year-olds, still in the concept and funder-development stage, with an anchor track planned for North East India and an institutional pilot in discussions with the NCC in Kerala and Lakshadweep.CSR and PPP structuring is an established, active vertical for us — this internship gives you a seat at both the ongoing partnership work and the ground floor of a new flagship initiative as it's being built.The RoleWe're looking for a sharp, detail-oriented intern to support our CSR and public-private partnership efforts. You'll work directly with the founder and leadership team on live funder conversations, institutional outreach, and the early-stage build-out of a new fellowship program — not busywork on the sidelines.What You'll DoOngoing CSR & PPP verticalResearch and map prospective CSR funders and institutional partners against Schedule VII focus areas (education, vocational skills, livelihood, preventive healthcare, sports promotion, gender equality, underserved regions)Track relationships and proposal status across sector skill councils, sports bodies (SAI, NIS), NCC units, universities, and corporate/PSU CSR desksSupport outreach and relationship-building with CSR teams at PSUs and corporatesAssist in drafting concept notes, funder decks, and one-pagers for CSR and institutional outreachMonitor CSR policy updates, government schemes, and sector-council developments relevant to sports, education, and skillingNew: URJA Academy Fellowship build-outSupport development of the Fellowship concept note, funder materials, and partnership structuring as the program moves from concept to launchHelp structure partnership models (grants, co-implementation, sponsorships) in line with Indian CSR compliance requirementsCoordinate with internal teams on program design inputs (cohort planning, district reach, projected outcomes) needed for funder conversationsHelp prepare board-ready materials summarizing funding pipeline status and partnership optionsWhat We're Looking ForCurrently pursuing or recently completed a degree in development studies, public policy, business, social work, or a related fieldStrong research and writing skills — you can turn a messy brief into a clear, structured documentComfortable with Excel/Google Sheets and PowerPoint/Google SlidesGenuine interest in India's CSR ecosystem, the development sector, or sports-for-developmentSelf-starter who can work with ambiguity and follow through without hand-holdingBased in or able to work from BangaloreGood to have: prior internship in CSR, an NGO/Section 8 company, or a development-sector consulting environment; familiarity with Schedule VII and Companies Act CSR provisions.Duration & Compensation90-day internship, with the possibility of extension based on performanceA nominal stipend to cover expensesWhat You'll GainDirect exposure to live CSR and institutional deal-making — from first funder conversation to structured proposalA front-row seat to a new flagship program being built from concept to launchMentorship from the founder on partnership strategy and non-profit fundraisingApply through LinkedIn.
