Intern in AI Adoption and Change Management

Role OverviewThe GxP Digital Solutions division at ATP CGPharm builds AI-driven products that support regulated decision-making and operational workflows for major pharmaceutical and biotech clients.We are looking for an intern to work on adoption: making sure the products we build are actually used. That covers our client sites, where new tools have to fit into regulated day-to-day processes, and our own organization, where colleagues need to work confidently with AI tools. Alongside this, you will support our consultants in day-to-day client work.This role is for someone who is curious about how AI changes the way people work in regulated industries, and who wants to be part of making that change happen. No programming is required.The position is available as an internship, as a working student role alongside your studies, or in combination with a Bachelor’s or Master’s thesis. The minimum commitment is six months, and longer engagements give you more room to take on your own responsibilities.ResponsibilitiesChange Management and Adoption:• Develop our approach to AI adoption in regulated organizations, from stakeholder analysis through training to how adoption is measured• Support product rollouts at pharmaceutical client sites, including change impact assessments, communication plans and key user networks• Prepare and deliver workshops, product demos and training sessions• Build and run our internal training program on the practical use of AI tools, including the rules for handling client-confidential information• Maintain the material behind that program: playbook, approved set of prompts, onboarding documentation and training records• Collect user feedback and feed it into how we roll out and improve the productsConsulting Support:• Take part in client workshops and stakeholder interviews together with a senior consultant• Map business processes, capturing the current state and designing the target state with tools such as Lucid• Translate the input from those sessions into requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria for the engineering team• Keep project documentation up to date: status reports, meeting minutes and action trackersCore Skills• Enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in industrial engineering and management, business administration, organizational psychology, pharmaceutical or life sciences, biotechnology, chemistry, regulatory affairs, quality management or a related field• Fluent in German and English. Both are required, as client communication is bilingual• Regular use of AI tools such as Claude, Claude Cowork, ChatGPT or Copilot, with a realistic view of where they help and where they do not• Clear and precise writing, which is what you will do most• Comfortable presenting to a group, including senior colleagues and clients, and able to explain a tool without jargon• Confident with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Teams)Nice to Have• Experience in pharma, life sciences or another regulated (GxP) environment• Coursework or first practical exposure to change management, process mapping or requirements engineering• Experience teaching, tutoring or facilitating workshopsWhat We Offer• Join a newly established digital solutions practice within a trusted 30-year GxP consultancy• Work with top-tier pharma and biotech clients on projects that support the use of AI in regulated manufacturing• A small team with real ownership, including an internal program of your own• Hybrid working with hours that fit around your studies• Occasional travel to client sites• Experience that is still rare on a CV: regulated industry, applied AI and change managementLocation: Basel, Switzerland (hybrid)Preferred Startdate: 01 September 2026
