About the RoleWe are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Python Intern with strong programming fundamentals. In this role, you will work alongside experienced engineers to develop automation solutions, build REST APIs, process data, and contribute to internal tools and applications. This internship offers hands-on experience with real-world projects and modern development practices.EligibilityAvailable for a full-time 6-month internshipStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.Eagerness to learn new technologies and contribute to team projects.Good communication and collaboration skillsKey ResponsibilitiesDevelop, maintain, and enhance Python-based automation scripts and applications.Build and optimize data extraction, transformation, and processing workflows.Assist in developing and integrating REST APIs with internal and third-party systems.Debug, test, and improve application performance and code quality.Apply object-oriented programming principles, exception handling, and file operations in Python.Work with SQL databases to write queries and manage data.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver assigned features and automation solutions.Prepare and maintain technical documentation for code, workflows, and processes.Follow coding standards, version control, and software development best practices.Required Skills Python FundamentalsStrong understanding of Python fundamentals, including:Variables, data types, and operatorsInput/output operationsConditional statements and loopsFunctions, modules, and packagesObject-oriented programming (classes, inheritance, polymorphism, encapsulation)Exception handlingFile handling (CSV, JSON, Excel)APIs & ToolsUnderstanding of REST APIs & JSONKnowledge of Python libraries such as Pandas and RequestsUnderstanding of automation concepts and scripting.Good to have:Postman & Swagger/Open APIGit & GitHubSelenium / Playwright or other Python-based automation toolsDatabaseBasic SQL knowledge (SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE)Add-on skill requiredBasic Java fundamentals (OOP, loops, exception handling)
