You will assist on operations related to equity trade settlement and cash management. This department ensures accuracy of cash projections for foreign fund, ensures sufficient cash is available for impending settlements and supports the trade lifecycle by performing trade matching and instructing payments or receipts.What You’ll DoAssist in monitoring and verifying equity trades in systems under supervision daily.Assist in uploading and verification of placements in internal systems before sending maturity and new placement instructions daily.Support the team in preparing trade instructions and confirmations to custodians and counterparties.Maintain accurate records and filing of daily transactions for internal and external audits.Assist in preparing reports and trade-related information in a timely manner,Support monitoring of cash inflows and outflows for foreign funds and assist with with FX transaction processing.Perform administrative tasks and other responsibilities as assigned by the team.Who You AreBachelor’s degree student or graduate in Accounting, Finance, Investment, Economics, or other related fields.Basic understanding of financial instruments, equity trade settlement processes, and cash flow management.Good problem-solving and time management skills to support timely completion of tasks.Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); familiarity with financial systems or trade matching platforms (e.g., OMGEO, PFI) is an advantage.Available for a minimum 6-month internship.Who We ArePrincipal Financial Group is a Fortune 500 global leader in financial services focused on insurance, retirement, and asset management.
