Internal Audit and Compliance Intern

Role Description This is an on-site internship role for an Internal Audit and Compliance Intern based in Manila. The intern will assist in conducting internal audits of financial and operational processes to support compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Day-to-day tasks include helping prepare and review audit reports, performing basic financial audit procedures, and gathering supporting documentation for audit findings. The role also involves monitoring compliance activities, assisting in risk assessments, and coordinating with various departments to clarify audit issues. The intern will work closely with the internal audit team, contribute to process improvement initiatives, and gain exposure to finance, internal controls, and compliance frameworks.QualificationsCandidates should possess skills related to audit documentation and reporting, including experience or exposure to Audit Reports and basic Financial Audits.Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills and a foundational understanding of Finance to support audit testing and compliance reviews.Candidates should possess clear and professional Communication skills for coordinating with different departments and presenting audit observations.Currently pursuing or recently graduated from a degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.Attention to detail, high level of integrity, and ability to handle confidential information responsibly.Ability to work on-site in Manila and collaborate effectively within a team environment.Interest in internal audit, compliance, or risk management; prior internship or academic projects in these areas are an advantage.
