Internal Medicine Physician

HMS Medical Group is seeking a dedicated, Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Internal Medicine Physician to join our outpatient practice in Greenbelt, MD. This position offers a predictable, balanced schedule focused on delivering comprehensive, high-quality primary care to adult patients.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide outpatient adult primary care, including preventive care, chronic disease management, and acute illness evaluation.Conduct comprehensive physical examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and establish individualized treatment plans.Collaborate with an experienced multidisciplinary care team and clinical support staff.Utilize Electronic Health Records (EHR) for accurate, timely patient documentation.Maintain a predictable schedule with no required evening or weekend routine clinic hours.QualificationsDoctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Internal Medicine.Active, unencumbered Maryland medical license (or ability to obtain prior to start).Active DEA certification and Maryland CDS license.Strong interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach to care.Schedule & BenefitsWork Hours: Standard day shift, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM.Competitive compensation package.Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance options.Paid time off (PTO) and paid holidays.Malpractice coverage and CME allowance/time off.401k
