Jupiter Medical Center offers specialized services in orthopedics and spine care, cancer care and oncology, cardiac and vascular care, neuroscience and stroke care, women’s and children’s services, urgent care, and additional key clinical areas.Role Description The Internal Medicine Physician will provide comprehensive, evidence-based care to adult patients, including preventive care, chronic disease management, and acute care services. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing patient assessments, diagnosing and treating a broad range of conditions, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and developing individualized treatment plans. The physician will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, coordinate care with specialists, and ensure accurate documentation in the electronic medical record. Additional duties include patient education, participation in quality improvement initiatives, and adherence to hospital policies, clinical guidelines, and regulatory requirements. This is a full-time, on-site role based at Jupiter Medical Center in Palm Beach County, FL.Qualifications Board certification or board eligibility in Internal Medicine from an accredited certifying body.Graduation from an accredited medical school and completion of an ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine residency program.Current or eligibility for unrestricted medical licensure in the state of Florida and active DEA registration.Demonstrated clinical expertise in adult primary care, chronic disease management, and acute care in a hospital or clinic setting.Strong diagnostic, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with a commitment to evidence-based practice.Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary care teams.Ability to manage a diverse patient panel, prioritize tasks, and maintain accurate, timely documentation in electronic health records.Dedication to patient safety, quality improvement, and continuous professional development; experience in a not-for-profit or community hospital setting is a plus.
