Over 300 Apollo Clinics, including smaller format clinics within housing communities, bring accessible, patient-centered care closer to where people live.Role Description The Internal Medicine Specialist will provide comprehensive primary and specialty care to adult patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of acute and chronic medical conditions. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting outpatient consultations, reviewing patient histories and diagnostic results, developing evidence-based care plans, and coordinating multidisciplinary care with other specialists and nursing teams. The role involves performing routine and preventive health checks, managing complex co-morbidities, and ensuring clinical documentation and adherence to established protocols and quality standards. The Internal Medicine Specialist will also participate in patient education, follow-up care, and occasional case discussions or clinical meetings. This is a full-time, hybrid role based in the Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad Area, with a combination of on-site clinic duties and some work-from-home responsibilities as appropriate.Qualifications Strong clinical expertise in Internal Medicine and Primary Care, with the ability to manage a broad spectrum of adult health conditions.Experience collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary teams, including working closely with nursing staff to coordinate patient care.Foundational understanding of Cardiology and related systemic conditions to support integrated care for patients with cardiovascular issues.Familiarity with critical care principles and coordination with Critical Care Nursing teams for patients requiring advanced monitoring or referral.Recognized medical degree (MBBS) and postgraduate qualification in Internal Medicine (MD or equivalent), with valid registration from the appropriate medical council.Demonstrated commitment to evidence-based practice, clinical quality, and patient safety, with strong diagnostic and decision-making skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered approach and the ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment.Prior experience in a multi-specialty clinic, hospital, or similar healthcare setting is preferred.
